The Empress AOV Smoke Vents automatically open when the fire alarm is triggered. This ensures the smoke will rise out of the building to assist with ventilation.
This allows occupants more time to leave the building before the smoke fills the structure.

The Empress AOV Smoke Vent is available with double or triple skin glazing to suit your needs. They can also be specified with either a curved dome or a pyramid profile. Not only does this smoke vent dramatically increase the safety of a building but when not in use it also acts as a natural skylight to suit a modern structure.

10 year guarantee

These AOV Smoke Vents are guaranteed to remain fit for purpose in normal industrial conditions for a period of 10 years i.e. they will not become perforated, lose significant structural integrity or distort to the extent of losing weather tightness. In addition, the polycarbonate used in the Rooflights is guaranteed against loss of light transmission, discolouration or loss of impact strength for 10 years.
